Frozen Tracks

Pitch:

Frozen Tracks is a dark survival adventure set in a merciless frozen wasteland. As a convicted prisoner, the player battles cold, storms, and isolation with only a rundown snow vehicle at their side. The vehicle is shelter, tool, and last refuge all at once. Only by completing the mission can they earn their freedom.

Controls:

The game is played with mouse and keyboard. Controller are at the moment and probably in the future not supported.

Game state:

Frozen Tracks was developed over three and a half months as part of our bachelor’s project. Our goal was to create a fully functional game prototype that could later be expanded into a complete release.

At this stage, the game is primarily a technical and visual prototype. The core systems, atmosphere, and overall gameplay foundation are in place, but the world around it and the narrative is still minimal and only hinted at throughout the experience.

About us:

We are interested in haptic controls, walkable control rooms, and immersive game worlds where interfaces are not separate menus, but part of the environment itself. Our work explores how machines, spaces, and player interaction can feel physical, grounded, and atmospheric.
